Important: Gaming should always be a form of entertainment — something you do for fun with money you can genuinely afford to spend. If at any point it stops feeling like that, this page is here to help you take action.
01 What Is Responsible Gaming?
Responsible gaming simply means playing in a way that stays within your means, your time, and your emotional capacity. It is not about avoiding gaming altogether — plenty of people enjoy casino games, slots, live casino tables, and cricket betting on Solat PKR as a regular, harmless hobby. The point is to keep it that way.
Problems tend to start when gaming shifts from entertainment to something you feel compelled to do, something you use to escape stress or financial pressure, or something you keep doing even when it is hurting your finances or relationships. The tools on this page are designed to make it easy to step back before things reach that point.
At Solat PKR, we want every Pakistani player to have a genuinely good time — whether that is following the PSL cricket season through our sports betting section, trying out new slots in the game lobby, or playing a few rounds of live casino. Keeping that experience positive is a shared responsibility between us and you, and we take our side of that seriously.
02 Recognising the Warning Signs
Most people who develop a gambling problem do not recognise it straight away. It tends to build gradually, and the signs are easy to rationalise in the moment. Here are some honest indicators worth paying attention to:
- You are spending more PKR on gaming than you originally planned, on a regular basis.
- You find yourself chasing losses — depositing more to try to win back what you have already lost.
- Gaming is taking time away from work, family, or other things that matter to you.
- You feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you are not able to play.
- You have borrowed money or used funds set aside for bills or household expenses to fund gaming.
- You have tried to cut back or stop and found it harder than expected.
- You keep your gaming activity hidden from the people close to you.
- You think about gaming frequently — planning your next session, replaying past ones in your head.
If any of these sound familiar, that is not a reason to feel ashamed — it is a reason to use the tools on this page. Setting a deposit limit, taking a cool-off, or requesting self-exclusion are all straightforward steps that take just a few minutes to set up in your account settings.
03 How to Use Our Responsible Gaming Tools
All of the following tools are available directly within your Solat PKR account. You do not need to contact support to use most of them — they are built into the account settings menu so you can act on your own terms, at any time.
Deposit Limits
Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Deposit Limits. Choose a daily, weekly, or monthly cap in PKR. Lowering a limit takes effect right away. Raising it requires a 24-hour cooling-off period before the new limit kicks in.
Session Reminders
Set a time alert from 30 minutes up to 4 hours. When the timer is up, you will see a notification with your session summary. You can choose to continue, take a break, or close the session — the choice is always yours.
Reality Checks
Enable periodic on-screen messages showing your current session duration and net PKR movement. Set them to appear every 15, 30, or 60 minutes. These are designed to cut through the focus of a gaming session and give you a factual snapshot.
Self-Exclusion
Request via Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion or by contacting support directly. Choose a minimum six-month period or permanent exclusion. During this time, your account is suspended and new registrations from the same identity details are blocked.
Cool-Off Period
A shorter pause — 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days — without permanent consequences. Useful if you have had a rough session and know a break would help. Once activated, it cannot be cancelled early.
Loss Limits
Alongside deposit limits, you can set a loss threshold for a rolling daily, weekly, or monthly period. Once you hit that figure, your session ends automatically until the period resets. Set this at an amount you are genuinely comfortable losing.
04 Managing Your Budget Sensibly
One of the most practical things you can do as a player is to treat your gaming funds as a separate budget — money that is already allocated for entertainment, just like money set aside for a cinema outing or a dinner out. Here is a simple framework that works well for a lot of players:
- Decide on a monthly gaming budget in PKR before you start, based on your income and outgoings. This should be genuinely disposable income — not rent money, not savings, not borrowed funds.
- Use a separate wallet or mobile wallet balance for gaming. Keeping JazzCash or Easypaisa funds earmarked for gaming separate from your day-to-day balance makes it easier to track what you are spending.
- Treat losses as the cost of entertainment, not as money to be won back. Every session carries risk, and the house always has an edge over time. Chase-and-recover thinking is where budgets fall apart.
- Set your deposit limit in your account to match your monthly budget. This turns your plan into a hard ceiling rather than a guideline you can override in the moment.
- Avoid depositing late at night or when you are feeling stressed, tired, or emotional. Decision-making quality drops significantly in those states, and impulsive deposits are harder to rationalise clearly afterwards.
There is no guaranteed system for winning at casino games or sports betting. If someone is telling you otherwise — whether online or in person — treat it as a red flag. Solat PKR offers cricket betting, slots, live casino and fish games for entertainment value, not as a financial strategy.
05 Keeping Minors Safe
Solat PKR is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. We verify age at registration and again during the withdrawal KYC process. If a player's age cannot be confirmed, real-money activity is paused until documentation is provided.
If you share a device with younger family members at home, we strongly recommend the following steps to prevent underage access:
- Always log out of your Solat PKR account after each session rather than leaving it open on a shared device.
- Do not save your password in your browser on a device that others can access.
- Use your device's built-in parental controls or screen time management to restrict access to gaming and betting sites on devices used by children.
- Keep your account login details private and do not share them with anyone, regardless of age.
If you suspect that a minor has gained access to a Solat PKR account, contact our support team immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including account suspension and data handling in line with our Privacy Policy.
06 Quick Self-Assessment
The questions below are a basic self-check. If you answer yes to more than two or three, it is worth taking a break and considering one of the responsible gaming tools available in your account.
